If you want a Camera to render volumetric fog, do not assign an off-axis projection to it. Volumetric fog does not work for Cameras that use oblique projection matrices. Additionally, using high values for Anisotropy in the Fog Volume override may cause flickering Shadows. Currently, this option is not compatible with dynamic lights, so you may encounter ghosting artifacts behind moving Lights. This option improves the lighting quality in the Scene by taking previous frames into account when calculating the lighting for the current frame. Still in Default Frame Settings, if you want to enable reprojection support, enable Reprojection.Go to Edit > Project Settings > HDRP Default Settings and, in the Default Frame Settings section, under the Lighting subsection, make sure you enable Fog and Volumetrics if they are not already.Volumetric lighting is a resource intensive effect and this option can potentially increase the resource intensity by up to eight times. If you want to increase the resolution of the volumetrics, enable the High Quality checkbox. In the Lighting section, enable the Volumetrics checkbox. Select an HDRP Asset in your Unity Project and view it in the Inspector. To enable and customize Volumetric Lighting in an HDRP Asset: HDRP also implements a unified lighting system, which means that all Scene components (such as Lights, as well as opaque and transparent GameObjects) interact with the fog to make it volumetric. Lastly, Sapphire 11 is lightning fast with new CPU and GPU performance improvements. The High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) includes a volumetric lighting system that renders Volumetric Fog. Autodesk Flame artists can take advantage of the unique S_Mocha spark plug-in, which allows mocha planar tracking data to be exported for use in other Flame compositing modules. Sapphire 11 also includes more than 50 new effect and transitions, designed with the Sapphire Builder.
Sapphire 11 is a substantial upgrade and includes the integrating of the powerful, fast, Academy Award-winning Mocha planar tracking engine into Sapphire effects. Sapphire is the most in demand, unequalled, work-horse plug-in suite for visual effects. Nick Harauz of Creative 111 gives you the low down, using Mocha in Sapphire to avoid keyframing. In this session Im going to give you an in-depth insight into the design and the implementation of the volumetric lighting system weve developed for.
Kevin McAuliffe shows you how to manipulate S_LensFlare inside Avid Media Composer, quickly and easily, with the Sapphire Lens Flare Designer. To get started creating volumetric lighting in KeyShot, you’ll first want to consider the composition of your scene - the subject to highlight, where the rays are coming from, how noticeable you want the rays to be.
